Press Release: First Look At Azio's "Iris" Keyboard
The "Iris" is Azio's modern iteration of the keyboard without compromising the retro motif, a characteristic to Azio. To accomplish this, Azio's design team looked to the classic 1960’s vintage camera for inspiration.
The highlight of the "Iris" is the metal crown knob controls all multimedia and backlight settings, inspired and designed to emulate the classic vintage camera lens where majority of the camera operations were once housed.
We've brought back the fan favorite cherry switch, to recreate the iconic experience of the clicking shutter every vintage camera user is familiar with.
Every element from the keyboard's minimal form factor, to its craftsmanship and durability, control knobs, weight, and shape were sourced from the classic vintage camera build and body.
